The Duluth Art Institute’s annual Membership Show gives its members a bit of wall space. We talked to some of the art aficionados, hobbyists and pros behind the work.

TobyMac didn’t know Christian pop music existed when he first began writing music about what mattered most to him: “My faith in God,” he said in an interview.

Best Bets include: Renegade Theater Company’s production of “All New People,” DSSO has “Wicked Divas,” take two on Rich Mattson’s “Song, Interrupted,” the aforementioned show at the art institute,  Charlie Parr has an album release show and a family-friendly production of “The Little Mermaid, Jr.” 

The word on The Andreas Kapsalis & Goran Ivanovic Guitar Duo: “Mood-casting masters,” according to music reviewer Tony Bennett.
