Paul Brissett says UMD’s “Last Summer at Bluefish Cove” is no longer novel, but remains striking more than 30 years after it premiered as one of the first mainstream pieces of theater that featured lesbian characters in the main roles.

Meanwhile, I caught “Frozen” at The Underground. Julie Ahasay’s grieving mother will sock you in the guts and Cory Anderson’s serial killer talks about luring a young girl into his van with the nonchalance of talking about, say, his tattoos.
