Here’s what you will find in this week’s Wave:

It’s the debut of a new venue: Slip into your favorite superhero tights and check out Geek Prom at The Underground. This space at the Depot will host events like Nerd Nite, acoustic music showcases, lectures and more. The official grand opening isn’t until later this month.

Best Bets include Trampled By Turtles at Symphony Hall, Tim Eriksen returns to Beaner’s Central, Gitchee Gumee Brewfest is Saturday at Wessman Arena, Hairball gets all pleather and pyrotechnics at Grandma’s Sports Garden, Matinee Musicale presents Brasil Guitar Duo and Geek Prom returns.
