Here’s what you’ll find in this week’s Wave:

A student at the University of Wisconsin-Superior has created a late night talk show-sketch comedy hybrid that plays today at the university’s Experimental Theater. Here’s more info on “Kirov By Night.”

Best Bets include Mark Mallman, Sexhawk and Wino, WI on Friday at Pizza Luce, Cars & Trucks play a CD release show, the County Seat Theater goes Poe and Change of Pace goes lower than the “Sopranos,” a bunch of art shows happen at about the same time and the DSSO plays Saturday at Symphony Hall.

Music reviewer Tony Bennett admits to some bias, but definitely digs Story of the Sea — the band that opens for his band’s album release show on Saturday at Luce.
