102.5 FM KHQG goes vinyl on Thursday

Classic Rock 102.5 KHQG-FM is going vinyl. Starting at 9 a.m. Thursday morning, they are plugging in the turntables, and swapping out the newer technology, and will play entire album sides without interuption, according to a release from the radio station. The records will spin until midnight.

Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Boston will be featured.

Program director Brian Wheeler indicated that this might become an ongoing feature and that "requests have been pouring in." 102.5 FM KHQG-FM has solicited playlist input on the station’s Web site.
